RRG RULES!

  • Have fun! If the RRG staff can do anything to make your use of the facilities more enjoyable, please approach them and let them know. We are here for you!

  • All persons using RRG's facilities must read and agree to abide by all RRG rules.

  • All climbers must sign a waiver of liability and assumption of risk agreement. If you are under the age of 18, the form must be signed by your legal guardian.

  • Absolutely no one may enter the climbing facility unless they or their guardian have signed an RRG assumption of risk form—NO EXCEPTIONS.

  • EVERYONE must check in at the front desk every time they visit RRG before using any of RRG's facilities.

  • Be safe! Everyone is responsible for their own safety and well being, and each person freely and voluntarily accepts all risks of injury associated with climbing at RRG.

  • All persons who intend to climb at RRG must go through a safety orientation with RRG staff.

  • If at any time you are unsure of how to properly and safely use any climbing or fitness equipment, you shall immediately seek out and consult with a RRG staff member. We want you to be safe and have a good time!

  • All persons under the age of 14 must be supervised at all times, and their legal guardian must accompany them through the RRG safety orientation.

  • No one under the age of 14 is allowed to belay or top out on boulders.

  • All persons 14 years or older who intend to belay must first be belay certified by RRG staff.

  • {while on mezzanine} No jumping or down climbing from top out boulders; climbers must exit through gate and down the stairs.

  • Everyone must inspect their personal equipment before use each time they visit RRG. Only commercially manufactured equipment approved by the CE or UIAA and in good condition is allowed.

  • Helmets are not required, but their use is encouraged.

  • All persons who want to lead climb must first be lead certified by RRG's staff.

  • No food or drinks are allowed in the climbing area; the only exception is water in capped and/or sealed, spill proof containers. No Glass!

  • No one other than RRG staff can provide any type of climbing related instruction such as top rope or lead belay training.

  • No loose chalk is allowed in the facility. Climbers must use chalk balls.

  • No rappelling from the rappel platform except under the supervision of RRG staff.

  • Always double check your and your partner's knots and equipment.

  • No one who appears to be impaired by drugs or alcohol will be allowed to use the climbing or fitness facilities.

  • No one who has consumed any alcohol, on or off premises, is allowed to use the facilities.

  • Shirts are required at all times.

  • Climbing shoes only - are allowed on the climbing walls - no approach or street shoes are allowed on the walls. Shoes are highly recommended while belaying (especially lead belaying)
